sub-sub blogs?

This question is really for Jason R., but it might be of interest to others on the wordherders server.

I'm considering creating a course blog for my AVT 395 class. I know the typical MT master installation can spawn multiple sub-blogs (hence our little collective), but can the sub-blogs (accidentals and substantives or miscellany is the largest category or the chutry experiment or any of the others) in turn spawn sub-sub blogs? In other words, how recursive is the set-up?

Ping Problems?

If you are having ping problems and blogrolling isn't updating you, add:

http://rpc.blogrolling.com/pinger/

to the box Notify the following sites when I update my blog located here in the MT user interface:

Main Menu > Editing Menu > Configuration > Preferences > Publicity / Remote Interfaces / TrackBack

[thanks to Vika!]

Welcome New Herders

The herd welcomes Brandon Barr, a freelance writer and new media critic, who blogs at his own domain: http://texturl.net/

Also welcomed is Marc Ruppel, a PhD student at UMD (as many of us are or were). His blog, Things as They Are?, has been set up for a while, but he hasn't written anything, so this introduction is just a way of saying: get to herding!

Yes. Pressure. Makes diamonds, you see.

Welcome Brandon and Marc!
